CS Echesa, Senator Malala Rivalry Takes Fresh Twist As 'Nudes' Come Into Play

June 2024 · 2 minute read

CS Rashid Echesa and Senator Cleophas Malala’s rivalry just took a new twist from threatening each other online to blackmailing each other with nude photos.

CS Echesa’s photos in a compromising situation have been doing rounds online after being leaked by one of his intermediaries.

The obscene images Kahawa Tungu understands have in the past been used in a South African tabloid newspaper.

The CS had requested three journalists to photo-shop Senator Malala in a compromising position in a bid to seek revenge.

The journalists, David Ndolo, Stafford Ondego and Alex Njue are said to have been employed by CS Rashid Echesa.

The journalists are now begging for forgiveness after the alleged photo-shop failed since Malala got a tip off of the plans to tarnish his image and alerted the police.

“Yesterday in some social media network there was demeaning photos of the CS in an unknown lodging with a woman in compromising situations. When those went viral Rashid looked for journalists whom he sent the photos and told them to Photoshop and replace them with me and release them online. Because I have acumen on intelligence I was able to round up those journalists with the help of police,” Malala said.

Malala also accused Echesa of publicly trying to defame him in a recent radio interview where he said that Deputy President William Ruto gave Senator Malala Ksh7 million, the money he used to construct and furnish his house.

“Today, he is not ashamed calling a man who gave him money to built a house where he is bringing up his children as a thief…He is telling churches, don’t accept money from the Deputy President. I am challenging him to knock down that house if its from stolen money,” Echesa said during the interview.

Malala has also been rebuking Echesa as a Standard 7 drop-out who does not understand his work as CS.

The three journalists were arrested on Tuesday and taken to KICC police station and will be arraigned in court on Thursday.
